This plate platform, or if you prefer, plate holder, is supplied as illustrated complete with a Hi-bond adhesive patch in place, ready for use. The adhesive is both waterproof and solvent resistant. Therefore, if at any future date it becomes necessary to remove the platform from the vehicle the use of a hair drier applied to the platform (after removing the plate) to relax the adhesive grab is recommended.
The Platform comes with a VIP SURFACE WIPE which should be used on the receiving surface to remove any wax or polish residue.
At the option of the user or with the instructions of the local licensing authority plates can be attached to the platform using -

VIP CABLE TIES
- or with any commercially available cable ties, straps or machine screws & nuts

Where plates are both fitted to a vehicle and subsequently removed at intervals whether by reason of their expiry date having passed or at the drivers option (if permitted by local licensing regulations) or for any other reason there is no possibility of any damage to the vehicle when platforms are in use. This should be of interest to both drivers and licence enforcement staff.
